This is a discussion about the disconnect in the administration’s policies.

Key Points: The discussion on testing and whether more tests are needed is interesting. Knowing how much time is spent preparing for tests to the detriment of other curriculum, it seems unusual to call for more. Also, if you are going to test and base key decisions on the results of those tests, then the process will never be low key, or less stress.

Relevance: I suspect the Obama version of no child left behind will not be the panacea envisioned by people on either side of the debate.
